Different Types of Briefs

Contractual brief
A contractual brief is a signed agreement that states requirements and objectives a breach, this agreement (formal contract) could lead to legal action taking place. This type of brief should be signed formally in person.
Negotiated brief
Negotiated brief is when more than one group or parties of people have different thoughts and ideas, but then compromise and change different aspects of their ideas so they can have one decision and be happy by it, rather than one group being happy and the other not.
Formal brief      
A formal brief is the opposite of an informal brief; it is legally binding unlike an informal brief it is negotiated verbally and over a contract.
Co-operative brief
This Brief allows an additional input of varied ideas from different parties all which have the same goal. This will include working with and alongside other companies or industries.
Depending on what kind of Brief you would be looking at you would want and expect a well thought out and detailed presentation. A presentation which gives the client a detailed and insightful informative presentation of what is required in order for their idea to go to plane and be a good success. 
Informal brief
An informal brief is when a brief is very casual; this type of agreement is usually negotiated verbally, and is a non-legal agreement.
Tender brief      
This Brief is constructed by various parties (e.g. agencies) offering their proposals and budgets to send to potential clients. The potential clients are then in a position to view all offerings and choose the most accommodating and suitable to them.

Advertisement Plan

Time
Description of what is happening
0-10 seconds
A clip of the bare amazon land and of fires.
10-30 seconds
A youth dropping there can in a recycling bin, with then text saying ‘could earn you’re self some rewards out of that’.
30–45 seconds
Then of a teenager getting his recycling getting weighed and then being handed money
45-55 seconds
Clips of rebuilding the amazon
55-60 seconds
A fact over talking of how we could possibly find the cures to diseases like cancer

Facts which can be included in the advertisement;t
  • Scientists and other groups of people believe that the natural cure to cancer amongst other diseases may be in the amazon rainforest, but which deforestion rates which are happening we may loose or even have lost the cure.
  • The amazon rainforest used to cover 14% of the earth's surface, now it only covers 6%.
  • The amazon rainforest alone is vanishing at a rate of 200,000 square miles a year.
  • At the current rate, in two decades the Amazon Rainforest will be reduced by 40%
  • In just the last five months of 2007, more than 3,200 sq. kilometers, an area equivalent to the state of Rhode island, was deforested.

Idea's for Recycling Company Campaign

My task is to create a 60 second long advertisement which will entice teenagers (mainly 16 - 20 year olds) to start recycling more worldwide. I am doing this task for a company called 'Sims Recycling Solutions' whom are based in Melbourne, Australia. The company asked for the advert to be upbeat and appealing and no longer than 60 seconds. 'WIPE OUT WASTE' has to been asked to be featured in the video.

Idea's
  • Use lots of emotional impact. 
  • Make a scheme up which involves paying young people to recycle depending on the amount the recycle. 
  • Use a song which is popular but fits in with the advertisement well.
  • Include some facts which will be shocking and are not usually featured on other sorts of media to do with this topic. 
  • Include pictures and video clips of deforestation which will shock people.
